Sushi Den Nigiri Assortment
With this easy recipe, you can make a variety of tasty nigiri sushi from Sushi Den. When you mix fresh fish with seasoned rice, the flavors and textures work well together.
Ingredients:
- 500g sushi rice
- 600ml water
- 150ml rice vinegar
- 50g sugar
- 20g salt

- Wasabi paste
- Soy sauce
- Pickled ginger
Instructions:
Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear
Combine rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to manufacturer's instructions
In a small saucepan, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved to make sushi vinegar
Transfer cooked rice to a large wooden or glass bowl, and gently fold in sushi vinegar, being careful not to smash the rice grains
Allow the seasoned rice to cool to room temperature
With damp hands, shape small handfuls of rice into oblong shapes, about 2 tablespoons each
Top each rice mound with a slice of fresh fish, pressing gently to adhere
Serve nigiri sushi with wasabi paste, soy sauce, and pickled ginger
