The Best Nashville Hot Chicken



This Nashville hot chicken recipe delivers a perfect balance of crispy, juicy chicken with a fiery kick of spicy flavor. It's a must-try for any hot chicken enthusiast!

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce

Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 1 hour

In another bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper
